At the German Wrestling Federation (DRB) delegates’ meeting in Neuss on November 22, 2025, the successful cooperation with Foeldeak was extended. The new agreement is valid for the years 2026 through 2029 and ensures that all German championships and the Grand Prix in Dortmund will be equipped with high-quality competition mats.
Foeldeak will continue to supply all German Championships with wrestling mats in the DRB design and provide the Grand Prix in Dortmund with UWW-certified competition mats. The contract was signed by DRB President Jens-Peter Nettekoven, who was re-elected to office, and Vice President for Association Development Günter Maienschein.
“Michel Frauen and his team ensured smooth and reliable cooperation in 2025 and received high praise from all sides,” emphasized the executive committee. The DRB was delighted with the contract extension with one of the association’s most important partners.
Michel Frauen, managing director of Foeldeak GmbH, also commented on the cooperation:
“In recent years, Foeldeak has played a significant role in significantly enhancing the German Wrestling Championships, presenting a professional image to the outside world and ensuring safe competitions by providing the competition mats. We stand by the DRB as a reliable partner in its association development. I am looking forward to the next four years of our partnership. Also, I would like to congratulate the newly elected Presidium and wish them every success in their decisions.”
Foeldeak thus remains the reliable partner in German wrestling—not only for the DRB, but also for the regional associations and numerous wrestling clubs in Germany and beyond.
