New construction of a wrestling hall

RG Hausen-Zell was given the opportunity by the municipality to build a room as a training facility in the course of the renovation of the local secondary school. A lot of preparatory work was done by club members themselves. Under the leadership of Sven Kiefer and his team, some of the old partition walls were dismantled and the waterproofing work for the entire outer walls was prepared.

After some trusting preliminary talks, agreement on the desired result and joint conceptualisation, Foeldeak was awarded the contract to build out the new mat room.

In addition to functional and safe equipment at the highest level, it was also of particular importance to the club that the new training facility integrates into the corporate design of the club and radiates the modern spirit and dynamism of RG Hausen-Zell. For this purpose, the wrestling mat and wall padding were matched with the club colours and logos were placed on the walls. Foeldeak’s latest innovation, a tensed mat cover, underlines the clean and modern look of the wrestling room. Dangerous corners, columns and wall protrusions were padded and a UWW-certified wrestling mat was installed.

With this impressive project, the cooperation of RG Hausen-Zell and Foeldeak shows the way to a modern future of wrestling in Germany. Modern and attractive training facilities like this will inspire many new children for this great sport.
