The wrestler Jean Foeldeak, winner of the silver medal at the Xth Olympic Games in Los Angeles (1932), founded the company for the production of sport mats. Starting at the bottom, he soon developed new materials and production methods which gained world-wide acceptance. 1974
Mr. Ernst Sittel extended the national and international basis of the company. Based on scientific test results, functionality and useful life of the mats were further improved. The multi-layer mat cores led to extremely favourable attenuation properties, resulting in the international approval of Foeldeak sport mats by world sports associations. Nowadays, also popular sports benefit from quality consciousness and high safety levels for international competitions. ![]() 2004
